Cheap Aero California Flights

Aero California is the fourth largest airline in Mexico, and it is based in La Paz. The main hub for Aero California is at Mexico City International Airport. The airline considers Manuel Márquez de León International Airport (La Paz), Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport (also known as Guadalajara International Airport) and General Abelardo L. Rodríguez International Airport (Tijuana) to be focus cities.

The airline began regular scheduled services in 1982, although it began as an air taxi company in 1960. In the Spring of 2006, Aero California suspended all operations for what are still relatively unknown reasons. Several excuses were offered, from concerns over safety issues to concerns about the airline's financial position, but there was no "official" statement from the airline. In August of that same year, Aero California resumed services on some of its routes. The airline once served 28 cities in Mexico with about 130 flights per day, but after the restart in 2006 it flies only to only 20 of those destinations. It expects to resume flights to the remaining eight, although there is no timetable for that at the moment.

Aero California currently has 19 McDonnell Douglas aircraft in its fleet.
