Air Philippines, not to be confused with the national flag carrier, Philippine Airlines, is a budget airline based in Pasay City, just outside of Manila in the Philippines. Air Philippines is tied closely to Philippine Airlines, however, as the two airlines now share frequest flyer plans, ticket sales and timetables. On its own, Air Philippines flies to 12 destinations throughout the Philippines. It used to fly to cities in East Asia and South East Asia as well, but those destinations have been suspended.

The main hub for Air Philippines is Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport, and Mactan-Cebu International Airport is considered a focus city.

Air Philippines is a relatively new airline, in operation since 1995, and has been steadily increasing its passenger numbers since it began. The fleet of Air Philippines is made up entirely of Boeing aircraft.
