Air Transat is an airline based in Saint-Laurent, Canada. It operates scheduled and charter flights to 60 destinations in 25 countries. During summer, its main destinations are in Europe while during winter, it focuses on Caribbean, Mexico and the USA.
Its main hubs are at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport , Toronto Pearson International Airport and Vancouver International Airport . It also has operations at Québec/Jean Lesage International Airport and Calgary International Airport.
Air Transat made its inaugural flight in 1987, traveling from Montreal to Acapulco. Today, it is one of Canada’s largest airlines and is the only airline in Canada to operate an all wide-body aircraft fleet.
The airline offers two classes: Economy and Club Class; Club Class passengers can travel with 40 kg checked baggage per person and 15 kg carry on; they also get complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and bar service, welcome cocktails and a large choice of meals.
Onboard all flights passengers can purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as breakfast or snacks. The in-flight entertainment includes movies, TV shows, music and educational video about the travel destination.
The airline has codeshare agreements with CanJet, Enerjet, Monarch Airlines and Thomas Cook Airlines.
