Cheap China Southern Flights
China Southern Airlines is China’s largest airline both in terms of the size of its fleet and the number of passengers it carries. Its headquarters are in Guangzhou in the Guangdong province, and its main hubs are Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport. China Southern considers Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, Urumqi Diwopu International Airport, Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport to be focus cities.
The airline, which was only established in 1995, was selected in 2000 by the Civil Aviation Administration of China to be one of three airlines to restructure the entire country’s air transport industry. China Southern flies to 121 destinations in Africa (Angola, Nigeria), Europe (France, Netherlands, Russia), North America (United States), Oceania (Australia) and throughout Asia. and is well-known for its superior customer service. It has won several awards for flight services.
China Southern will be joining the SkyTeam airline alliance in 2007. Some SkyTeam airlines are already allowing its members to earn and redeem miles on China Southern flights, as are China Southern’s frequent flyer program members able to earn and redeem miles on the flights of some SkyTeam airlines. The airline uses both Airbus and Boeing aircraft, and has placed orders for more airplanes in preparation of the 2008 Olympics.
