Cheap Japan Airlines Flights
Japan Airlines, also called JAL, encompasses two companies – Japan Airlines International and Japan Airlines Domestic. The domestic branch operates – not surprisingly – within Japan, while the international branch serves the airline’s international destinations as well as a few domestic cities as well. Japan Airlines is Asia’s largest airline, and has the largest fleet of Boeing 747s in the world.
JAL flies to 125 destinations, and is one of only two Asian airlines to fly to Latin America (Mexico City and Sao Paulo). It flies to the continents of Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Australia and also to Guam. Its strong point is Asia, and it operates flights to nine cities in China, two in South Korea, one in India, seven in Southeast Asia and almost 40 in Japan. Japan Airlines also flies to six countries in Europe as well as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Honolulu, Kona and New York City in the United States and Vancouver, B.C. in Canada.
Japan Airlines is headquartered in Tokyo, and its hubs are Narita International Airport, Tokyo International Airport, Kansai International Airport and Osaka International Airport. Its main hub is at Narita. The Chubu Centrair International Airport on an artificial island in Japan’s central region is a focus city.
Japan Airlines is a member of the OneWorld airline alliance.
