Cheap Malaysia Airlines Flights
Malaysia Airlines is Malaysia’s national airline. Its hub is in Kuala Lumpur’s KL International Airport. The airline considers Kota Kinabalu International Airport in Kota Kinabalu (the state capital of Sabah) and Kuching International Airport in Kuching, Sarawak to be focus cities. Malaysia Airlines flies to almost 80 destinations in Africa, Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, South America and throughout Asia. It’s the only airline in the region to serve South America with its flights to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was the first airline to fly to South Africa after the collapse of the apartheid system.
In 2001, Malaysia Airlines flew the first flight through the newly opened polar routes. Recently, the airline has suffered financial difficulties. Its former Kuala Lumpur headquarters have been closed and the company is now based at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang.
Malaysia Airlines is one of only four airlines to receive a five-star rating by airline rating service Skytrax. The airline has a close partnership with Northwest Airlines and has code sharing agreements with several airlines, including Air India, Alitalia, BMI, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Korean Air, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Thai Airways International and Virgin Blue.
