Cheap Royal Air Maroc Flights
Royal Air Maroc is the national airline of Morocco and its headquarters are in Casablanca. The airline’s hub is Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca and Ménara International Airport in Marrakech is considered to be a focus city. Royal Air Maroc is the fourth largest airline operating in Africa behind South African Airways, Egyptair and Air Algerie.
Royal Air Maroc flies to 65 destinations in Southwest Asia (Saudi Arabia, Lebanon), Europe (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom), North America (Montreal, Canada and New York City, United States) and throughout Africa. In late 2005 a new agreement was signed between Morocco and the countries of the European Union called an “Open Sky” agreement. This agreement will mean increased competition for Royal Air Maroc in that Europe’s low cost carriers will be flying some of the same routes.
The airline operates a low cost subsidiary, called Atlas Blue, which has its based in Marrakech. Air France owns a tiny percentage of Royal Air Maroc. The fleet is made up primarily of Boeing aircraft, although there are a handful of Airbus, ATR and Beechcraft King Air aircrafts.
