Cheap Singapore Airlines Flights
Singapore Airlines is Singapore’s national carrier and Asia’s largest airline (in terms of international passengers carried). It maintains its hub at Singapore Changi Airport and is most prevalent in Southeast Asia, East Asia and South Asia as well as the route between Europe and Oceania. Singapore Airlines also flies across the Pacific Ocean, including some of the longest non-stop commercial flights in the world (Singapore to Newark, New Jersey and Singapore to Los Angeles, California).
Singapore Airlines flies to 64 destinations in 35 countries on five continents, with its primary focus being on the Asian market. The airline also flies more than 10% of all international passengers to and from Australia, making it second only to Qantas in that area.
The Singapore Airlines Group has its fingers in many parts of the airline industry, including ground handling and air catering, and even purchased a 49% share of Tiger Airways in an attempt to get in on the low-cost airline business. Including all of its subsidiaries, the Singapore Airlines Group is the largest carrier (in terms of market capitalization) in the world. In addition to its large share of Tiger Airways, Singapore Airlines also holds a 49% share of Virgin Atlantic Airways.
Singapore Airlines has received more awards than any other airline in the world, and is part of the Star Alliance airline alliance.
