Cheap TAM Linhas Aéreas Flights

TAM Linhas Aéreas is Brazil's largest airline, and one of the country's flag carriers. The airline is based in São Paulo, Brazil, and its main hubs are Guarulhos International Airport and Congonhas International Airport, both in São Paulo. TAM also considers Galeão International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Santos Dumont Regional Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Tancredo Neves International Airport in Belo Horizonte and Salvador International Airport in Salvador to be focus cities.

The airline's route network begins in São Paulo and serves all major points within Brazil, as well as international flights to the United States (Miami and New York City), the United Kingdom (London), France (Paris), Italy (Milan) and other countries in South America (Argentina, Chile and Venezuela). TAM flies to 48 destinations. The airline has code sharing agreements with several airlines, including TAM Mercosur, American Airlines, TACA, Japan Airlines and Air France, which increase its ability to serve more destinations beyond the nearly 50 it serves with its own fleet. TAM's aircrafts are primarily Airbus (A319, A320 and A330), though it also has a few Fokkers and MD-11s. It has plans to phase out the Fokkers, add more Airbus planes and purchase a few Boeing planes as well.

TAM is historically known for its attention to customer service. In fact, the former president of the company used to personally greet passengers as they boarded flights before he began his workday. Nowadays, the captains and head pursers will greet passengers as they board the plane.
