Cheap Thomsonfly Flights
Thomsonfly has its origins as the world’s largest charter airline, but more recently has also launched some scheduled services in order to compete with the likes of easyJet and Ryanair (two of the biggest budget carriers in Europe). Thomsonfly is based in Britain, with its main hubs being Manchester Airport, Birmingham International Airport, Cardiff Airport, London Gatwick, Lonton Luton and Newcastle Airport. Even with all those hubs, Thomsonfly also considers Bournemourth Airport, Coventry Airport and Doncaster-Sheffield Airport to be focus cities.
Since both Thomsonfly and TUIfly exist under the larger TUI Airlines Group umbrella, it was announced in 2006 that the two airlines would be combined and that Thomsonfly would be rebranded with the TUIfly look and logo by 2008 as part of a larger effort to consolidate all the airlines in the TUI group to the same brand. At present, and until that rebranding is complete, the destinations served by Thomsonfly include cities in Africa, the Caribbean, Asia, Mexico, the United States as well as several cities throughout Europe.
Thomsonfly operates entirely Boeing aircraft in its fleet, and for a time had the record for being the most on time charter airline in the UK. The airline is part of the TUI Airlines alliance.
