Cheap Flights is one of those airlines that actually puts the “dot com” in its name, so you should never have any confusion about the company’s website. It is one of the many low cost carriers serving the European market, although it is not as well known as airlines like Ryanair or easyJet. is based in The Netherlands (and yes, it is spelled with a lowercase “T” on purpose) and is an independently run subsidiary of the Air France-KLM group.

The main hub for is Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport, while Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Paris-Orly are focus cities for the airline. Like many of the low cost airlines operating today which have been around for awhile, began life as a charter airline – a role it still serves, albeit in conjunction with its scheduled services now. The airline’s base at Paris-Orly is relatively new, and the service from Orly will be in partnership with’s parent company, Air France-KLM, although the new service will have the same look and feel as other flights. The flights from Paris-Orly will serve holiday destinations in the Mediterranean and North Africa.

Destinations served by include cities in Egypt, Gambia, Israel, Morocco, Tunisia and lots of cities throughout Europe. The airline operates an entirely Boeing fleet, and during the “off season” it even leases out its aircraft to other airlines. The company is looking to expand its reach, and will likely acquire other smaller airlines in order to do so.
