Turkish Airlines is the national flag carrier of Turkey. It operates flights to 130 international and 41 domestic cities, serving a total of 171 airports in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

The airline’s hub is at Atatürk International Airport and the secondary hubs are at Esenboğa International Airport, Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, and Adnan Menderes Airport.

Turkish Airlines has been selected by Skytrax as providing the best economy class food services in the world and as Europe’s Fastest Growing Airline. According to last year’s data, it is Europe’s 3rd best airline.

Miles and Smiles is the airline’s frequent flyer program. The Classic Card is the first level of membership which allows members to earn miles not only on Turkish Airlines and Star Alliance partners flights but also from the Program Partner Hotels and Car Rental Companies through their Shop&Miles credit card expenditures. Other perks – such as online check in, reservation priority, etc – are included as well. There are four levels of memberships, the highest being Elite Plus Card.

All Turkish Airlines planes offer three classes: Economy, First Class and Business Class. The Economy passengers get catering services (on both domestic and international flights); the First Class passengers get in flight services such as welcome drink, daily newspaper, meals, tea and entertainment; while the Business Class services also get priority seat selection, lounge, and can carry two pieces of cabin baggage.

The airline is a member of Star Alliance and it also has codeshare agreements with airlines all over the world, including: Air India , Air Malta, Etihad Airlines and Royal Air Maroc .
