Cheap Vueling Airlines Flights
Vueling Airlines is one of Europe’s many budget carriers; this one has its base and main hub in Barcelona. Its focus cities are Barajas International Airport in Madrid, Valencia Airport and Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris. The airline began its life in 2004 and serves Europe and the Mediterranean – if it is a popular holiday spot for Europeans, Vueling Airlines probably flies there. In fact, the inaugural route for the airline was between Barcelona and the Balearic Island hotspot of Ibiza.
Vueling Airlines flies to cities in Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain, including several cities on the Balearic Islands.
The frequent flyer program for Vueling Airlines is called Punto. In 2006, Vueling was given third place honors on a “Best European Low Cost Airline” list put out by the World Airline Awards, placing behind Air Berlin and easyJet. American based airline JetBlue owns 7% of the shares of Vueling Airlines. The airline has an all Airbus fleet.
