Find the cheapest flight to Asia
Asia is massive, there is no denying it. If you are simply looking for a cheap flight anywhere in the vast expanse of Asia, you will be able to find something within your price range. If you are trying to be more specific and target a country or a region within Asia, then you will not have as much wiggle room on the price. But to just say that you want to find a cheap flight to Asia is far too general of a place to start, really. Here are some informational tidbits about some of Asia’s larger airports to get you started.
Many international flights to Asia (especially SE Asia) will route through one of Bangkok’s airports, Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang Airport, regardless of whether your final destination includes any part of Thailand. Bangkok’s airports are busy and huge, so getting a good deal on a flight to Bangkok is probably easier than getting a good deal to some of the smaller SE Asian countries. Another major SE Asian hub is Singapore Changi Airport. Japan’s Narita International Airport and Hong Kong International Airport are a couple other big hubs serving mostly NE Asia.
If you are interested in trying to save a little money, you might try booking a round trip flight to one of Asia’s major airports and then booking a separate ticket on a budget regional carrier to get you the rest of the way to your destination. Otherwise, you can check out our deals on international airfare to Asia for any number of other cities in other countries which might be more convenient for you. And don’t forget to read our Asia Travel Guide to figure out what to do and where to stay once you arrive.
More Information on Asia
As mentioned, Asia is huge – so huge that it cannot rightly be considered as a vacation destination unless you have an unlimited amount of time in which to travel. SE Asia is a very popular tourist destination for backpackers, budget travelers or first time visitors to Asia, as it is incredibly cheap to sleep, eat and get around, and most of the bigger SE Asian cities have a well developed tourist infrastructure that makes visiting easy. The rest of Asia is not impossible to travel in, it can just be more challenging or more expensive (depending on the location) than SE Asia. Travel in Asia can be some of the most rewarding travel you will ever do.
