How to Find Cheap Air Travel to/from Columbus
Port Columbus International Airport (airport code CMH) lies six miles outside of Columbus, Ohio’s downtown area on a site originally selected by Charles Lindbergh in 1929. The original terminal building is still in use (though it is used for rental office space now), and the original hangars are still used in airport operations. It was once an America West Airlines hub, though it is no longer; now it is something of a focus city for Delta Air Lines and it is the base for Skybus Airlines. The airlines which ferry the most people in and out of Columbus are Southwest Airlines, Delta Air Lines, US Airways and American Airlines – so those are the airlines to check for special deals on tickets.
