How to Find Cheap Air Travel to/from Detroit
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (airport code DTW) is, thankfully, generally called Detroit Metro Airport, Detroit Metro or just DTW – the full name is just plain too long. It is located in Romulus, Michigan near Detroit, and is considered a secondary airport serving the Toledo, Ohio area after Toledo Express Airport (airport code TOL). DTW is a major hub, not to mention the operational headquarters, for Northwest Airlines and its Northwest Airlink partners, Mesaba Airlines and Pinnacle Airlines. It is also a hub for Spirit Airlines. Those are the airlines to check, therefore, for special deals on tickets.
