Find the cheapest flight to Goa

The small but popular tourist destination of Goa is served by Dabolim Airport (airport code GOI), which performs double duty as both a commercial airport and a military air base. Although Goa’s airport sees far fewer passengers each year than the larger airports in India, some reports say that it sees about 90% of all the international charter flights in the country. Goa is, after all, a major tourist draw for all kinds of people. It remains a popular destination for people who are trying to “find themselves” or some kind of inner peace, but it is also becoming more popular with young backpackers of all persuasions. While many of them continue to get to Goa via land or sea, the airport is certainly available. The airport in Goa is actually located near Vasco da Gama, roughly 30km from Panaji (the capital of Goa).

Though there are international flights into Goa, the airport mostly serves domestic flights within India.

Dabolim Airport does not appear to have a website, so here is a list of the airlines serving Goa:

Domestic destinations – Air India, Air India Express, Deccan, GoAir, IndiGo Airlines, Jet Airways, JetLite, Kingfisher Airlines

International destinations – SriLankan Airlines, Transaero

Charter airlines (operating seasonally) – Air Berlin, Arkefly, Condor Airlines, Monarch Airlines, Novair, Thomsonfly, XL Airways

Passenger facilities at the airport include a few shops (including a Duty Free shop), some food vendors, postal services, and a currency exchange desk. There is taxi service to get you from the airport wherever you want to go.
