How to Find Cheap Air Travel to/from Indianapolis

Indianapolis International Airport (airport code IND) is the largest in the state of Indiana, and is located in the capital city of Indianapolis. It is a major hub for FedEx (but no, you cannot ship yourself somewhere), and a focus city for both AirTran Airways and Northwest Airlines, so check those airlines for special deals on tickets. A new terminal is currently being constructed to the west of the existing airport, and is scheduled to be open in 2008.

You will find a complete list of carriers serving Indianapolis International here and a flight tracking is available here for incoming and outgoing flights. Among the services available at Guest Services on the 2nd floor are photocopies, fax, printing from USB and notary, and a guide to getting through the airport is here. Your dining and shopping options are listed here, with restaurants and cafes broken down by their location in the airport here, and shops here. Ground transportation options are listed here, and maps and directions to the airport are available here. You can save time and money on Indianapolis airport parking by reserving it ahead of time.
