More Information on Johannesburg

Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa, although much of the city’s population is spread into the suburbs. This tree-filled city is both an economic boom-town and home to some alarming levels of poverty. There is much to see and do in Johannesburg, including some must-see museums and monuments to the country’s long history of Apartheid and fantastic outdoor sports like skydiving and hiking. Tours of the Soweto suburb are also becoming increasingly popular.
