Cheap Flights to Lithuania

Lithuania's main airport is in the capital of Vilnius, and that is where most people will enter the country. It is not a major international hub, however, so if you are arriving from a destination outside Europe you will probably be transferring between your home airport and Lithuania. You might even find a better deal on airfare by booking a round trip ticket to a major European hub like London or Paris and then booking a separate ticket on one of Europe's budget airlines to get to Lithuania.

Vilnius International Airport (airport code VNO) is located about seven kilomoters outside of Vilnius itself. You will find the list of airlines serving Vilnius here, and you can track flight schedules here. Your dining options at the airport are here, and your shopping options are here - there is also a duty free shop here. Car rental agencies serving Vilnius aiport are listed here.

While most major airlines serve the Vilnius airport, there are some which also serve the smaller Palanga International Airport (airport code PLQ) near the Baltic Sea, and Europe's budget carriers like Ryanair and Wizz Air use Kaunas Airport (airport code KUN).

Be sure to check on these deals on international airfare to Lithuania, and then read through our Lithuania Travel Guide to figure out what to do and where to stay once you arrive.

More Information on Lithuania

Lithuania's capital of Vilnius is among the cities vying for the title of "the next Prague," and with its lovely old town it might have a good case. On the opposite side of the country from the capital lies Lithuania's short coastline along the Baltic Sea, which is a popular destination for visitors and Lithuanians alike.
