How to Find Cheap Air Travel to/from Missoula
Missoula International Airport (airport code MSO) is a mere four miles northwest of the city of Missoula, Montana, and has an average of only 20 departures per day. It is not the world’s busiest airport, to be sure, but it will get you there. And really, flying in and out of Missoula might be a really refreshing change after fighting the crowds at an airport like JFK or O’Hare. Just be sure to bring a book or something to do while you wait for your flight, because you might not find the airport’s amenities up to the standards of larger airports.
You will find a complete list of carriers serving Missoula International here and there’s also the possibility to track the flights. If you would like to see what is happening at Missoula International when you are not there (yes, life does go on without you), here is the airport web cam. Your dining options are listed here and your shopping options here (or at least one of them is available and the other is “coming soon”). Free WiFi is available throughout the airport, so if you have your laptop in your bag you should be able to keep yourself amused for hours. You will find other passenger amenities listed here. Ground transportation options can be found here. If you are driving to the airport, you will find driving directions here and parking information here.
