Cheap Flights to Holland

Holland, more correctly known as The Netherlands, may not be a big country in Europe, but it does have one of Europe’s main hub airports in Amsterdam. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (airport code AMS) is the country’s primary international gateway and a major international gateway for the continent as well.

Schiphol is a short 15km from the city of Amsterdam, making it easy to make a quick two-hour tour of the city on even a layover, and it is the home base airport for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Amsterdam is also a hub for Northwest Airlines, Transavia.com and Martinair, and a few of Europe’s low-cost airlines that have regular flights in and out of Schiphol are easyJet, bmibaby and SkyEurope. You will find a list of all the airlines that serve Amsterdam here.

Holland’s second-busiest airport is Eindhoven Airport (airport code EIN), the airfield for which is used by both commercial and military aircraft. Even as the country’s second-busiest airport, it pales in comparison to Schiphol. Some of the airlines serving Eindhoven are Air France, Ryanair, and Wizz Air. A complete list of all the airlines with connections to Eindhoven is here.

The third-busiest airport in The Netherlands is in Rotterdam – Rotterdam Airport (airport code RTM) is served by KLM and Transavia.com among other airlines, and you can see all the destinations you can reach from Rotterdam on this page.

More Information on Holland

Holland is about more than tulips, wooden shoes, and Amsterdam’s Red Light District. It is a culturally progressive country where the natives are overly beautiful and speak English so well you might think it’s the country’s mother tongue.
