How to Find Cheap Air Travel to/from Oahu
The island of Oahu in Hawaii is the site of the largest airport in Hawaii and the main point of entry for most people visiting the islands.
Honolulu International Airport (airport code HNL) is Hawaii’s busiest airport, and one of the busiest in the United States. It lies about three miles from central Honolulu and is the main hub for Hawaiian Airlines as well as a focus city for Northwest Airlines. A list of all the airlines serving Honolulu is here, and you can track incoming and outgoing flights here. A map of the Honolulu terminal is here, and passenger services – including dining and shopping options – are on this page. WiFi is only available in certain airline lounges. Ground transportation options are listed on this page and include hotel shuttles, taxis, and car rentals.
Dillingham Airfield (airport code HDH) is a small, regional airport located on Oahu’s North Shore near Waialua, and you will likely only use this airport if you are participating in some of the extreme sports which are popular in Hawaii (such as skydiving or paragliding).
