Jorge Chavez International Airport (airport code LIM) is roughly 10km from the central part of the capital city of Lima and is Peru’s principle international and domestic airport. The airport itself is located in the city of Callao, which is a major port for Peru. The Lima airport is the main base for Aero Condor Peru, Star Peru, LC Busre, TACA Peru and LAN Peru (a subsidiary of LAN Airlines). It is a focus city for LAN Airlines.
