Find the cheapest flight to Philippines
There are several airports in the Philippines, but the country’s main airport in Manila is also the main international gateway. Ninoy Aquino International Airport (airport code MNL) is about seven kilometers from the capital city and is the main hub for Philippine national flag carrier Philippine Airlines.
Unfortunately, the website for the airport is not very helpful if you are looking for basic information about the Ninoy Aquino International Airport – things like what restaurants and shops are at the airport, what all the ground transportation options are, or what airlines fly in and out of Manila. You can get an idea of what airlines serve Manila here, although it might not be updated as frequently as the airport’s own website would be. You can track both arrivals and departures in real time. You can also see something of the terminals layout here. While the airport’s website does not provide this information, there are restaurants and shops throughout the Manila airport, some of both on each side of the security gates as well. The airport also has Duty Free shops, just in case you want to empty your pockets before your flight home.
The information about getting to and from the airport is here. You can choose between taxis and buses.
More Information on Philippines
With more than 7,000 islands making up the Philippines, it is almost impossible to generalize and tell you precisely what you will find when you visit. But you are pretty much guaranteed to experience loads of natural beauty, exceptional beaches, friendly locals and unique cuisine. The chaos of Manila is definitely not representative of most of the country, so get beyond the capital to see what the Philippines is all about.
