Cheap Flights to Poland

Poland has a few major airports which visitors can choose from, but the largest is Frederic Chopin Airport (airport code WAW) in Warsaw. More than half of Poland's passenger traffic goes through this one airport, which used to be called Okecie International Airport. Warsaw's airport serves as the main base for LOT Polish Airlines, the country's flag carrier. If you are having trouble finding cheap airfare directly to Warsaw, consider flying into a major European hub like London, Frankfurt, Paris or Amsterdam and then catching a flight on a budget carrier into Poland - Wizz Air is a good candidate, as it is partly Polish in ownership and uses Warsaw's airport as one of its main bases.

You can find a complete list of airlines serving Frederic Chopin Airport here and you can find out current flight information here. The passenger services available at the airport are all listed on one page here, including the car rental companies serving the airport, the location of information desks and the restaurants and shops in the airport. There is a left luggage facility in the Arrivals Hall. You will find ground transportation options, including buses and taxis, here along with driving directions if you are renting a car.

Among the many other airports in Poland, the other ones you might consider using are Krakow-Balice Airport (airport code KRK) and Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport (airport code KTW).
