How to Find Cheap Air Travel to/from Providence
The smallest state in the Union is home to T.F. Green Airport (airport code PVD), located six miles from Providence, Rhode Island. Because of T.F. Green’s smaller size, long waits are minimal, making it a popular alternative to Boston’s Logan International Airport. It is surrounded by residential homes, making future expansion a challenge, although the airport’s governing body does own some property now that is adjacent to the airport and has already removed some of the homes which were once there. This seems to be an indication that the airport will eventually expand in a meaningful way, although at the moment there are only minor expansions and renovations taking place.
