How to Find Cheap Air Travel to/from St. Louis
Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (airport code STL) is actually outside the St. Louis city limits, but is owned and operated by the City of St. Louis. American Airlines maintains a hub at Lambert-St. Louis, and Southwest Airlines also has a large presence there, so those are the carriers to check for special deals on tickets. AirTran Airways and Frontier Airlines have also recently added services to St. Louis. It might not be one of the bigger tourist destinations in the United States, but with its more or less central location in the country St. Louis has grown to be the country’s fourth largest airline hub.
