Toronto Pearson International Airport (airport code YYZ), or Pearson Airport, is 27 km from downtown Toronto and is Canada’s busiest airport. It’s the primary hub for Air Canada and a major hub for WestJet. The new Terminal 1, which was opened in January 2007, is designed to operate domestic, international and transborder flights in one terminal. Terminal 2 is in the process of being torn down – the space will eventually be used as an aircraft parking lot.
